The Fire Police Company is responsible for maintaining safety and order at all Lakeview City Fire District emergency scenes. Their duties include regulating and directing traffic, protecting firefighters, medics, and civilians, and keeping fire lanes, hydrants, and operational areas clear for district use. Fire Police officers ensure that every scene remains secure and that responders can work without interference or unnecessary risk. They also enforce the orders of the Fire Chief and assist in maintaining perimeter control during major incidents. Through discipline and coordination, the Fire Police Company plays a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient emergency operations across the district.
Fire Marshals are typically used for code and arson inspections/investigations. They are not patrol-oriented law enforcement. Most servers use Fire Marshals for scene control, building security, and the protection of fire responders. This is NOT a fire marshal's duty and is typically handled by Police-oriented law enforcement units.
